As a Business Consultant with Vector Consulting Group, you will work with clients to drive and execute high-end operations, supply chain, distribution, and sales consulting engagements

As part of its expansion plans, we are looking for business consultants who will drive and execute high-end operations, supply chain, distribution, and sales consulting engagements. You will be put into a rigorous training program followed by in-house certifications. You will work closely with a Lead Consultant in your first two assignments. Later, you will act as a lead consultant with the following responsibilities:

Develop solution design along with subject area experts
Conduct buy-in sessions with senior/middle management
Manage and drive the project in a functional area (production, distribution, sales, or projects) to get the desired results

Required experience and competency

Experience in one or more industry Sectors - Consumer Goods, Retail, Automotive, Custom Manufacturing & Engineering
Experience in at least one functional area - Distribution, Sales, Production or Project Management

Ability to lead teams
Not desired - belief that consulting is about impressing clients with fancy presentations and bulky reports

Qualifications

An engineering degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience (industry/functional as specified above), out of which at least one-year post MBA experience.

A full-time MBA from IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-C, IIM-I, IIM-K, IIM-L, XLRI, ISB, FMS, and SPJIMR.
