It's about how to think in real-world situations, where the data you need may not exist and the people around the table disagree. It's about thinking clearly, surfacing hidden premises, and learning to both pull a problem apart and connect it to others. You'll work on real challenges, the kind that don't resolve neatly, and learn to sit with ambiguity long enough for the real problem to surface.</p>

<p>reTHINK 2026 brought together some of India's brightest management students to challenge conventional thinking and develop innovative solutions to complex business problems. From a highly competitive field of premier B-schools, nine campus-winning teams advanced to the Grand Finale in Mumbai, where they presented their solutions to a national jury.</p><p>Armed with first-principles problem-solving, the finalists went head-to-head to demonstrate their ability to break down complex problems, question assumptions and develop practical solutions. We are proud to celebrate the exceptional teams who pushed the boundaries of critical thinking and emerged victorious.</p>

<p>The competition is open to all full-time second-year flagship MBA students from the eligible B-school campus listed below. Students currently pursuing part-time, distance learning, or executive MBA programmes at the same B-schools are not eligible to participate.</p>

<ul><li>Teams should consist of exactly 2 members.</li><li>Cross-specialisation teams are allowed to participate.</li><li>One participant cannot be a member of more than one team.</li><li>There is no restriction on the number of teams from a particular institute.</li><li>Any deviation from the above-mentioned guidelines will result in the immediate disqualification of the entire team.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Pre-workshop case</strong> A case will be sent to all registered participants 48 hours before the workshop begins, which they are expected to work on and submit their solutions before the deadline (to be mentioned along with the case). This will be a non-elimination round. However, it will carry weightage during the national winner selection.</p><ul><li>Registered teams will be shared with a case study prior to the workshop.</li><li>Registered teams must submit 2-3 slides, providing the root cause analysis of the problem and their solutions.</li><li>Submission format: PDF/PPT</li><li>Naming convention: TeamName_CampusName</li><li>All submissions across all rounds will be evaluated by Vector, and the decision will be final and binding.</li></ul><p><strong>Workshop</strong> 4-hour workshop at each campus.</p><p><strong>Campus round</strong> Post the workshop, a case will be sent to all registered participants, which they are expected to work on and submit their solutions online. The top 4 teams from each campus will present their solutions virtually.
