Audio Video Producer (Contract)

Vector Consulting Group is an 18-year-old homegrown Indian management consulting company. We offer unique solutions to chronic ‘wicked’ problems in areas of supply chain, operations, sales & distribution, R&D, NPD, retail operations, Industrial CAPEX projects, and software development. 
We have a strategic tie-up with TIS Inc., a $4.00 Bn Japanese company. Last year, we opened offices in Indonesia and the US and currently we have projects running in 23 countries.

We are looking for a Video & Podcast Production Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of our video and podcast initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who understands audio/video production, is a go-getter, and can coordinate on multiple tasks with multiple stakeholders.

Should have an understanding of storytelling in a simple, easy to understand manner and engaging audio-visual content. The candidate should have a strong understanding of technical aspects of audio/video production, be able to build relations with external and internal stakeholders. He/she should be able to seamlessly manage creative, technical aspects of audio video production, should have an eye for detail and a creative flair to make the AV content of the brand more effective and engaging.

Role & Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (partners, consultants, marketing) to identify topics, speakers, and locations for videos and podcasts.
  • Create production schedules and ensure timelines are met for every project.

Production Management:

  • Liaise with external vendors to organize shoots and edits.
  • Ensure brand consistency, visual quality, and message alignment across all deliverables. Ensure that the agreed upon templates are used and followed in the videos.
  • Oversee all stages of production — from pre-production planning to post-production delivery.

Editing and Post-Production Oversight:

  • Coordinate with internal design teams for graphics.
  • Manage post-production workflows, ensuring all assets meet publishing standards and quality benchmarks.
  • Review and provide creative direction for edits, cuts, sound quality, and final packaging.

Podcast & Video Expertise:

  • Oversee podcast recording logistics (remote and in-studio).
  • Ensure audio quality, video quality, and seamless editing of conversations.
  • Stay updated on emerging video/podcast formats, trends, and tools.

Required Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of the full production lifecycle — scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing.
  • Working knowledge of –
    Video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.
    Audio editing: Audacity, Adobe Audition, Descript, Logic Pro.
    Design & motion graphics: Adobe After Effects, Canva.
  • Familiarity with professional camera setups, lighting, and sound recording equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors, budgets, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to interface confidently with senior leadership.
  • Command over English language would be a big plus, ability to copy check transcripts and sub-titles for inconsistencies, English & grammatical errors and get them corrected would be a big advantage.
  • A storyteller with a sharp eye for visual and auditory detail.
  • A project manager who can bring structure to creative processes.
  • Someone who can drive the audio/video content creation process.

Required Experience

3–5 years of experience in video and/or podcast production, preferably in a corporate, media, or consulting environment.

Qualification

Graduate/post-graduate from any stream.

Compensation

Competitive salary as per the market.

Work Arrangement

This position will be offered on a contractual basis.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, work from office (Thane location).
